Marriage is the ultimate level of commitment, to celebrate your love for each another and to know you have found the one you hope to spend the rest of your life with is pretty special.

I know many brides who have dreamed of their wedding day since being a child. It’s a big deal, and you want it to be the most memorable day of your life, right?

Wedding ceremonies are changing, and we are no longer bound by a traditional church service or the rules of the registrar.

Celebrants are becoming more and more popular as couples are realising that they can have a unique ceremony totally tailored to them reflecting their own beliefs and values.

Not only that but they can choose their own ‘venue’ where they can make their special promises to one another.

How does this work?

Ok, I come to see you and your partner for tea and the obligatory cake. We chat and get to know each other a little. You tell me your dreams for the big day and see whether or not I’m the lady for you. Be warned, I’m colourful, bubbly and tend to get very excited when hearing about your plans. If you decide to book me I will go ahead and craft a beautiful ceremony tailored to you as a couple. I can rewrite until you are completely satisfied with every word and

I always have suggestions up my sleeve if you are floundering. If you are in a multicultural relationship, then I’m happy to learn a little of your language to make any non-English speaking guests feel comfortable.

If like me, you are a dog lover then it’s a no brainer that they also have to be part of the day. I would be delighted to include them in your ceremony.

Hand fasting, sand pouring, ring warming are just a few of the rituals we can include, or you may wish to keep the ceremony more traditional.
